All the candidates including Hillary are being pretty quiet so far on GLBT issues. I kind of hope it stays that way, considering how they used us as a wedge issue in the last Presidential election. I’m hoping that after Hillary is elected, that she will go ahead with strengthening GLBT rights. Perhaps she will attempt to fulfill the dreams of the former Clinton administration to get rid of the ban on gays in the military and to legalize gay marriage. Do you think she will do these things?

Thousands upon thousands of GLBT Vets who honorably served our country are denied family benefits by the military. We vets have health insurance, but can we add our partners to it to also be covered and thereby strengthen our family and our health? Of course not, we vets even hesitate to open our mouths about it for fear of having our benefits taken away, or other badness. It’s a huge problem that is being totally neglected. What do you think?
